Contribute to Audubon Society of Portland, or Vancouver Audubon Society, in May at any Backyard Bird Shop, and we'll match your donation!*

Portland Audubon Society, the 3rd largest Audubon chapter in America, provides nature-related classroom or field experience to more than 24,000 children and adults each year.  The Society rehabilitates more native birds and wildlife than any other organization in all of Washington and Oregon combined!  And, the Society’s statewide conservation efforts help maintain Oregon’s hospitable environment for birds and wildlife. 

We’re about to embark on the 30th Anniversary of Birdathon, and momentous occasion that it is, we encourage you to contribute!  Backyard Bird Shop’s matching funds are an additional contribution beyond the $10,000 that Backyard Bird Shop’s team plans to raise by participating in Birdathon, Audubon’s yearly fundraiser.  Five staff members are gathering pledges and will soon take an action-packed 48-hour trip around the great state of Oregon to count as many bird species as they can find.  Please help us help Audubon!
